I have decided to try and moddify my endcap. I have a bunch of questions. What size pipe do i put in? how far in do i put it. should I drill holes or cut slotts in the portion of it that is inside. what size jet do i run with stock air filter? In the near future when I get a K&N what size jet will i want. I am not good at reading spark plugs so give me your best guess as to what size jet is nesasary. Thanks for the help.

Do a search on this forum for "Modified DS End Cap...Here's how you do it" . This will give you some good ideas. Re-jetting with a k&n in stock airbox will be a trial and error thing. Usually start by going up one or two main jet sizes and raising the needle 1 position. There are alot of varibles. A lot of folks run a mikuni 175 main with the stock k&n setup. You can also buy the dynojet kit which comes with jets, needle and instructions. It also depends on what kind of exhaust mods you make.
