I'm thinking about installing a kill switch that cuts off the engine if you become seporated from the quad.
I'm not sure if it needs two wires- to cut power to the coils or just one- to ground the coils. I'm sure it can be wired into the engine switch on the bars but I don't have access to my quad right now so I can't look at the existing wiring. Is there anybody that has installed one on their DS that knows?

I just installed mine yesterday. The short wire goes to any ground. I spliced the long wire to the black with a white stripe wire from the engine shut off switch. It work’s great.
