I remember when the DS came out that thier was an add by (ALBA) I think, saying they had a supercharger coming soon and to call for prices. I remember calling and the guy I talked to said it would be ready in a few months and the price would be around 2500 to 3000 BUCKS. What happened? I think I heard that they couldn't keep head-gaskets on the DS but I'm not sure. Does anyone know for sure what happened.

BUMMER !, I wonder what would happen if a good biulder like Knutz was to get a hold of one of those superchargers, and biuld the 760cc engine to take the abuse or(horsepower) of that supercharger.WOW!

Anyways, did they ever give you a estimate on the horsepower with the Supercharger?

Gee, I wonder if Cory[of Alba Action Sports] still has it laying around? I have pistons, rods, gaskets, studs, and all sorts of reliability mods that could make it feasable, maybe. Of corse, if they never went into production, there would only be one for my personal bike.[LOL] Gee, how do you all think 830 supercharged CC's would do at next years 4-stroke war. Maybe a nitromethane mix too, while I'm at it.

If I'm going to get my hands on a supercharger, I'll build myself the second 830 in America. If I'm going extreme, I might as well go completely extreme.

I wonder though, does that mean I would need a 1660cc plenum to run it, or is it not like the turbo that requires a plenum twice the displacement.

I know the real Alba story but I can't tell. hehe

There is a non-Alba supercharger out there that makes 85+RWHP on gas, over 100RWHP with a little nitro.

A turbo/supercharger is a torque multiplying monster.
