Hey Vegas, Sand45, Knutz, it was really cool to meet all of you and thanks for the hospitality at camp. I also met Jsds and neosurfer, all very nice guys and a lot of fun to talk with.

As everyone knows, vegas had some trouble with his engine and a little accident. I guess he is ok, It did not look pretty.

If anyone ever gets the chance to hook up with these guys and ride, I would jump at it. It was kind of a crazy weekend at dumont and being my first time out there, I was a little on the cautious side.

Anyway, knutz bike is fast, I think he was probably the fastest 4 stroke out there, every race I saw he was winning, but I was not there the whole time. There was a lot of action at dumont this weekend the jeeps were fun to watch.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and thanks to everyone we met this weekend. It was a long trip for me, about 10.5 hours each way, but overall it was worth the trip. Next time maybe I will have a toy hauler.

Thanks
Bat

Bat,

It sounds like you had a blast. I wish I couldv'e gone. Well as for the big trips, I am for sure headed to DS days. I want to hit LS UT here pretty soon. I think I am going to go riding this weekend for sure. I am not sure if it will be here or at LS but one or the other. Anyway get ahold of me. Did you get some good videos?

Bat, glad you had a good time. I wished the weather hadn't turned so ugly Sunday. (kinda like my face) The hospitality deal was not an issue. Everyone is welcome in my camp. The people who don't get reinvited are trouble makers.
Don't forget I owe you a ride on the Sandpig when I get to LS for Memorial Day.

Demon, I did not do too much video taping. I got tired of carrying that thing around. My wife took some, but I have not checked it out yet. She said she was taping me up the hill, but then said she lost me somewhere in the confusion.

I would love to do some riding this weekend, let me know where you are going. My trailer is still loaded, and ready to go.

Vegas, I had a lot of fun, and I will take you up on the sandpig ride whenever I can. I would love to try her out.

The weather really sucked, It made me decide that I really need a tow hauler camper for these weekends. I am going to begin looking for one soon.

Demon, I hope you can make it for memorial weekend at little sahara. I will be there and my buddy from ogden too. We could all camp together if you guys wanted. I am not sure which camping area would be the best. I think white sands is probably quiter and more family oriented, but it is 10 miles from sand mountain. I am going to scout out the jericho area when I go in march. It is like 3 miles from sand mountain and probably still a bit quiter. YOu can also camp at sand mountain, but I think it would get pretty crazy over there at night.

Well this is what it is looking like. My brother might be moving on Friday. If he is then I will still be in this area. If not then I want to head to LS. 90% sure though I will prolly be here. I wouldn't mind going and checking out some of the riding area around RS. There seems to be a ton.

I have heard that the area out by the BLM horse corrals is alot of fun with miles of riding. Just an idea. It might be cold but that just means you put on more clothes.

Demon, the area out by the horse corrals is where I do most my test riding and just run out for a little quick ride when needed.

I usually go out to the century park and park my truck off to the side in the dirt area and then ride around there. I have not gone off too far, but there are a lot of trails out there and some little jumps and stuff that people have built. It is not too bad. If you want to go riding around here let me know. I could not make it to little sahara this weekend, but around here I could go. That is about the only area in RS that I have ridden. So if you know of others let me know. I would be up for any riding.

Also, me and my bud in ogden will be going to Little sahara in march, I am pretty sure it is the weekend of the 23rd. If you want to go down then, I could tell you where we will be or we could plan to meet somewhere.

Bat, Sorry it has taken so long to reply. There has been so many new topics this one got pushed down and I kinda forgot to look for it. I am not sure where century park is? As far as the rest of the areas I have no idea. I am probably goingto be in town this weekend for sure so I am hoping that i can go on Sunday at the least. I think I am going to be moving my brother on sat but sun should be open for sure. let me know if your interested in going. Also could I twist your arm enough to let me throw on the Ohtsu's for a bit? I know it will be a pain and I could ride yours but they are not really the same so the only way to really tell if they make that much difference is to put them on mine. Maybe we could do some timing runs. three of each and compare them. Anyways let me know. Thanks

Demon, Sunday would be excellent for me. We could ride anywhere you want to. Century park, you turn at the light by great western autoplex and follow that road back, it turns to the left and then you make the next right. then another right and just follow that road back. There are signs also.

If you want to we can swap the tires, I still have my paddles on, so I wont change them until we talk.

I just hope the wind stays calm. I hate riding when it is really windy.

Well, let me know
