Hey bat sorry i did not catch this earlier what you are asking about piston and cams is what i run.stock bore and a little piston and cam magic and i keep up with the 703's but to be honest you have to do the carb and intake too.one can make amazing power with a close to stock ds.the key word is setup!!!!!

HURCYNE ; the horse power of a stock ds is a little less than 38 hp sucks but true.

Major, thanks for the info. I sent you a PM also.

Azsand, thanks for the info, would you mind sending me a pm with the specifics of what you did? I would sure appreciate it. I am taking notes on everyones comments and just trying to decide what to do. I want to make the right decision the first time.

Guys I wonder what a dual carb setup on a stock bore with high comp piston and cams would make. Maybe it would be just too much, but I wonder..... I can't stop thinking about what the best setup would be. I am willing to do it, I just cant decide what the best setup would be.

Thanks again for all the info and suggestions
Bat

<< Hey Jeff is that with the shot? >>

That's without the juice!

Keep in mind though, the dyno had trouble, so we are still waiting to confirm those #'s

Considering I'm dyno'ed many times at 70RWHP, and he whoops me by 10-12 bikes, I think it accurate.

I really cant comment on the HP numbers untill I get a correct Dyno run,Its hard for me to believe I have more than 100hp with out NOS

BAT, just remember to THINK BIG. As a former powerlifter you know what I'm talking about. If you got the money and Bridgette says it's OK then it HAS to be done, but I'm not going to give you my spot in Don's line.

Oh yea if you're going to race me at LS you better get the cams and the dual carbs. Maybe Don will be done with his induction set up by then.

Hey vegas, I hear ya man.

I really would love to get the 703 with cams probably larger than the sport cams and the dual carb setup.

I just hate to wait like most of us. But if that is the best bang than I will wait.

I am wondering if I went with like a 12:1 piston, larger than sport cams and a dual intake setup if that would work well. I wish I could find the best answer to the never ending question of "how to get more power".

I wonder if with a stock size bore the duals would be too much. What do you guys think?

Any other setup ideas would be cool.

Vegas, maybe by memorial I can loose some weight that might help. I doubt if I could get the 703 done by then. I am waiting for an email from Don to find out what the turn around time would be.

You were right about going insane, I am almost completely there.

Bat

By the way, Team Pami does not have a single recorded case of valve springs "shattering", even without the shim under bucket design. The difference between the two brands of springs can be seen just by looking at them. I would explain this difference, but some members consider that "bashing".

As you can see above,YOU brought up the bashing yet again.Apparently you cannot let it die as we thought that it was.And correct your comment, i don't think anyone will think that is bashing if you explain the diff. between two products. Please get over it and continue on.I didn't bring it up.Thats my response.

My email just starts to get back to normal and this topic gets pushed back up.

Oh, well anyone have any more comments
