Who knows a good way to get headpipes to stop leaking at the bend on a three piece pipe?

I have the CT pipe & Graydon....pretty much the same set-up.
I just let it leak...............
I tried for weeks to seal them with differant types of hi-temp silicone sealant and exaust sealer...............nothing held up.
If you figure out something that works let us all know.

Same here! The high heat, high backpressure, high vibrations will not let it seal.I have tried everthing, nothing works. My pipe performs great,so I too will have live with it.

What if I take the part of the pipe that goes in the other and get it ceramic coated? Not the whole pipe just that part so you couldnt see it? Cost? Would it work?

It leaks because it doesn't fit together perfectly - imperfect manufacture which is hard to achieve.
I'm lucky, my RWR pipe fits perfectly, has no clamp or gasket on the headpipe joint, and doesn't leak.

I thought the CT pipe was ceramic?

My CT head pipe has a cheap ceramic coating(turned dull grey w/hints of rust),and the tail section looks like a bad chrome job (but holding up) The muffler is brushed aluminum(that still looks good)
