I just picked up a DS Baja for some testing and was wondering about the air filter. It came un-oiled. In the owners manual it ONLY mentions cleaning the filter, nothing about oiling it.

Do you oil it like any other foam air filter?

Also any tips for breaking in the motor?

No you are not supposed to oil it. Don't even oil the foam outerwear. The filter will absorb it and will not be able to "breathe". I made that mistake. Of course it was no big deal for me because I was about to get a K&N anyhow. I would say, buy an aftermarket filter for added protection. The stocker is a nice design, but it's not as good as a K&N or Uni. I got my K&N from moto-man.com for $34.99 and the outerwear was $10.99. The dealer wanted $50.00 friggin' dollars for the stock filter replacement!!!!!
