The prob here is that 95% of us are power heads. We all sit around the computer and try to figure out how to smoke the other guy (I am no exception). The 95% of us who mod our machiens to no end are the ones that will have a failure sooner then the other 5%. BUT one thing is for sure the DS can take it better than most!

I'v been alittle aggressive lately (sorry) I'm just getting sick of people coming here and saying, "I told you so" People come in here and some don't tell the whole story then, others come in here and say, "look at the DS now!" And most don't realize that there was a nitrous system on that bike, or it was a high strung high compression camed motor, or that person never changed his oil, or got the valves adjusted, or even ran the DS out of oil!
I had one guy say to me "I have a feeling that the DS riders are in for a surprise" he was referring to general things like bearings failing due to the DS being a new Quad. I say it's just like anything out there "freak" things happen you can't stop that. But a well maintained and cared for Quad will go for ever!
My quad blew up due to human error, mine!

How is it in the??????? what?

Dont feel attacked I think there has been a few things going wrong for people because it is the start of the riding season in most places and things tend to show up after they have sat for months and stuff. It just seems there has been some negative posts and stuff on here lately and maybe a few of us are tad bit tired of people jumping the gun and stuff when it all turned OK in the end. Sometimes it seems like a little soap opera on here LOL. The best way to know if you want a DS is to spend some time on one and the otther options. You may be too small for it or it may not just feel right to you or you may jump on it and think why the hell did I even look at another quad. Ride and see for yourself, only you can decide. But in my opinion you'll be getting one kick **** quad that is THE most reliable quad out there. The 400 EX seems to be pretty good to that way but it isnt as fast period.(oh boy I can hear it now)

I LOVE my DS in the woods (and I ride tight wooded trails all the time!), fast and stable. If you know your quad and where to put the front end you'll have no problems. By the way, no reliability issues here...and I've got two dealers nearby that are both fantastic.
