Coolant

The shop manual simply says to use 60/40 Glycol based coolant and water, period. They only warn not to use pure antifreeze because it does indeed freeze unless mixed with water.
I would imagine the orange is cool to use - I can't think of any components inside the DS engine of different material than any new car engine that uses it. My Silverado engine is all aluminum except the block, it uses it from factory.
I'd like to go orange too, 'cause it matches the color scheme better (seen thru the expansion tank).

Another item you might consider is Engine Ice. (It's a nice Crystal Blue color.) I installed that and some radiator shrouds and my DS was signifigantly cooler! The first weekend out, I thought my fan may have died because it didn't come on until the very end of the first day! In previous trips the fan would come on during the first outing. I have a feeling the Engine Ice made more of an improvement than the shrouds, but I like the idea of both for added cooling.
