I was flipping though an issue of Motor Cyclist magazine and the Dakar Rally BMW F650 jumped out at me. I skimmed the captions and found that it has 50 hp and is fuel injected. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the same motor that is in the DS, and only puts out 40.1 hp. I know someone on here has a EFI DS, but I didn't know the specifics. I think if you could get a hold of a trashed out F650 and did some test fitting the FI would install pretty straight forward. Look out Cannondale
Does any one else have any input?

The BMW also runs a higher compression 11.5:1 witch helps it get to the 50ph mark.

I've been looking on Ebay for a while but the F650 is a limited production bke and parts or parts bikes are hard to come by. They go for pretty high prices. Also remember the Ds was supposed to be around 50 horse when it came out. Look at who is putting out the hp. figures.
