I wish they would come out with one that had a digital tach in it as well.

DsRide, I take it that the bar clamps you are talking about, will allow me to mount the speedometer, without interfering with my tach?

<< Trail Tech also is making a fat bar clamp for the DS. They also have there own fat bars. (CR 500 high bend) I have not used the bar clamp but the bars are really nice! I also have the Trail Tech 50watt Tourch lights mounted on my 2000 DS were the stock Baja lights would be work great and alot cheaper than anything else. >>

DSRide,

You have any pictures of the Trail Tech lights mounted on your DS? I am looking at putting more lights on mine.

I am not sure about the bar clamp with the computer. I know they are making a clamp so you can use fat bars. They should have both with a computer mount and with out. I am using a TimmyBoy antivibe stem with the Trail Tech X bars. I dont use the computer. I race desert and when I Pre-run I use a Garmin GPS mounted to the bars.
I welded tabs to another light bar I use for the torch lights. I use PIAA HID lights on the High beam and the 50watt Trail Tech lights on low beam. The HID lights are removable and the Tail Tech lights stay on the bike. I will take some pics. Last I talked to Trail Tech they were going to work on light mounts for the lower location.

Wouldn't you know it. After saying how I liked the trail tech, this weekend it wasn't working. The computer seemed to be fine. I guess. But it wasn't giving me any speeds. The clock was working just fine. I could scroll through all the modes with no problems. Just when ridding it didn't display and speed changes, change the odometer reading, or update the ridding time. My best guess so far is that the sensor has corrosion on it or something. The gap is the same as it ever was. So thats not it. I shall clean it and see. Unfortunately getting to the tip of the sensor requires rotor removale.
