for my stock carb, which kind of jets do I use, Mikuni Round, or Hex? Also, what sizes should I use for.......

Modded endcap with Airbox lid off, and K&N
Modded endcap with k&n and lid on
K&N with lid on, and stock endcap
K&N with lid off, and stock end cap

Adam, order a Dynojet Jet kit. It will come with a needle and a assortment of jets for all combinations and altitudes.

It takes small round main jets. Have your local dealer order some or call FACTORY jetting in San Rafael,Ca. They have them in stock. I would pick up a 167.5, 170, 172.5, and a 175. This will give you a pretty good selection to play with.

 

I have a K&N, and Modded endcap. I was going to pick up a 175, 177.5, 180, 185, 187.5, 190.

Does that sound pretty good?

Also, what jets come in a Dynojet kit, and how many?

I've heard that some people have had bad luck with the dynojet needles, what's that about?
