Straight vs V-paddle

I baught my Extreems from Prowlers and I think it was $225.00 on Douglas black label.
A little more info, a friend of mine Sandsurfer just got a set of 20-10-10 10 padle haulers (not extreem) and he likes them better than mine. We traded tires for a ride and he didn't like the extreems as much as I do.
Good luck.

Hurycne, The only experiance I have with edges are from riding eraptoids quad at sahara. Hills I could idle up to & climb with my Extremes I had to take a run at on edges they spun a lot.
I was over tired with 10 paddle 22x11x10 Haulers. I could pull them fine but the extra drag cost me top speed (Stock gearing). the 8 paddles are just right with my mods.

For V-paddles I dont think there is a single better tire than the Sand Skate II's by Sand Tires Unlimited. As you can see I have them and I really really like them. AZSand said I would gain by going to streights for drags but I love to play alot as well. I get bored going up and down the same hill all of the time. I also recommend getting some good fronts. They make a big difference in handleing. Solid ribs are very fast steering so you have to use some caution. Stabilizer might help with that. Ohhh I ran 3lbs of pressure in my Skates all weekend without even a mark, even with all the rock in the camping areas. They are tuff!!!

I have the 20x10x10 8 paddle haulers on my ds and love them. I would like to try the 22's in a 9 paddle, but am not going to run out and buy them. I get a lot of wheelspin with these, so may not be the best for dragging, but I love the roost. I have heard this you have to have the v paddle for duning, but I much prefer the straight design for everything.
I have a buddy that has haulers on his 400 and it just rips. I have to say, if I were buying another tire today it would be the skat trak hauler.
I have the sand skates on my raptor and they are ok, a good durable tire, but I much prefer riding with the haulers.
I dont know what type of bike lengths you would be looking at, but I love the way the tire works for me.
