ok, i installed a graydon full exaust on my DS. it is running a little lean now, but will be fixed, just waiting on some bigger jets to arrive. when i was riding it, i tried to see how easy it was to hit the rev limiter now because everyone sez it will be even more noticable with a pipe. but, no matter how high i revved it i couldnt get it to hit the limiter, it just kept revving. i only tried that like twice because it is a little lean. i know it sounds weird, but i just couldnt hit it, it felt like i had no limiter. is it me, or maybe the fact it is a little lean? i dont know can soemone help me please.

 

I just put a Graydon full exhaust on my 01 DS650...I also put a Dyno 185 jet and K&N filter and outerwears. I have hit the rev limiter, but only in 2nd gear.It seems that in 1st I rev it as I always have and havent hit it yet....I was wide open on a street the other day and it didnt hit... I thought I was going to be bumping up against it all the time.....thats not the case here...anyway.thats been my experience with the exhaust.
