The DS shop manual has several errors concerning metric conversions - the ones I've found so far are below.

Minimum thickness of clutch friction disk package - page 03-08-3 - 27.5mm converts to 1.0827", not 1.827"

Tecnical Data - page 11-02-2 - Cooling System - Fan thermostat closing temp 95 celsius converts to 203F, not 221F. Fan thermostat opening temp 90 celcius converts to 194F, not 205F.

There are probably more errors throughout the book, so be careful on everything, and double check all conversions before counting on inch measurements or temp conversions. Just remember - 25.4mm per inch.

 

Isn't that how we smashed that $1,000,000 probe onto Mars? Maybe the NASA engineers who got fired over that one got a job at Bombardier?

 

is there only one manual for the DS & Baja or are there two dif. i ordered one and the guy said there is only one. i just wanna check with u guys on this. thanx
