anyone know if there is big HP gains with an aftermarket pipe on a DS, like I know with the raptor there are huge gains!figures anyone?

 

Good question but there will not be an honest answer till a DS pipe shoot out is done. Till then you have a he said she said type of situation. When I first got my DS it was dyno by Alba 39 max hp stock and 41.9 with there pipe K&N air filter and new main jet. I then had Edelbrock dyno it and they came up with 39 max hp added the QwikSilver carb back to 41.9 max hp. Till some body get all the pipes in one location and test on one dyno and one DS650 the question is unanswered.

 

I agree with Bill, but regardless of which pipe, it should provide huge gains in the mid and low range. That is properly tuned of course.
