Uglyman,

I like the orange coolant, Food Color? I haven't been able to ride for a while the quads in the shop.

There is a race in Lake Elsinore comming up in Nov. Though the cith and up some of the local hills. Alan, Doug, and myself will be racing it. If your interested, I'd like to see alot of quads out there for a change.

Haven't been up to El Mirage in a while is it over 100 degrees. Hope to get the quad back my end of the month for a couple trips to Compitition Park, and than Glamis season.

Later

Smitty

Pic. 229 & 230 are the ones for the hose.

Are the zip-ties to keep the tubing from kinking?

Black plastic will last the longest in the sun but, you probably keep the quad in the garage so it wouldn't be an issue for a long time.

I like the clear look but, I think when the standard coolant is in it looks like the hose is garden hose and I have a buddy with a CBR motor in a Zilla frame that uses garden hose and it is ugly. The orange looks good on your quad. Isn't there a red coolant out?

the cooland is the new Prestone 5/150 and it is actually orange. i talked to a motor head and he said i should mix it with water wetter (wich is red) and it should give it a firey-orange look. the wire ties r to keep the hose from kinking but another friend had a suggestion of taking some steal braided hose covering and just putting them on the take offs. like an inch or 2 so i will be trying that one soon also.
