K&N's flow the most air. Uni foam filters filter the best fine dust particals. You're riding area will determine what you should use. I ride very dusty conditions, but still use the K&N with Outerwears, just keep it well oiled and it'll trap all the dust. Foam filters are easier to maintain though, and much more economical. It all a matter of preference I guess, but the K&N will flow more air.
