When I said "sharing" injection technology...I should have said Polaris "R&D" ( Rip-Off & Duplicate ) the technology from Rotax. The rivalary between Polaris and Bombardier is Very Intense. I was having a hard time with Polaris/Rotax.

 

I haven't seen this myself, but A guy I work with here says his 400 Scrambler has the word Rotax on the side of the motor. Anybody out there with a 400 scrmabler that can confirm this?

 

Knowing how cheap Polaris is there's no way they would put a rotax engine in there wheelers.

But then again they do seem to like to copy every thing that bomb does, but dont worry they always seem to screw it up.

 

I was at the Speedway races last night displaying product when the Polaris Dealer came over to look at the Baja I had on display. His comment was "How do you think "our" new Predator will compete against the Baja"??? The dealers have known for a while...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

From the pics of the Predator it looks like a KTM motor.

Nope hightower my scrambler dose not say rotax anywhere. As a matter of fact with all the controversy right now. I can't even park them side by side without my ds kicking my poor little scramblers butt!!! i do plan on buying a predator my girl friend say's the scrambler is too fast!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

GUYS GUYS!! I have the total scoop on this thing.

The builder decided on a new name it won't be a predator any more. Since it looks -and the original name- was similar to the raptor and it uses a Rotax engine and is built be Polaris it will now be called (drum roll please) The POLYAMIBOM ...Look for it at a dealer near you lol [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]
