Hey, I need some help here... I think all I need to do is rejet but not sure, my baja keeps spudering and won't go past 3,000 rpms and then it dies. It does this both with the airbox lid on and off. It is completly stock still. Thanks!!!!

Mine did something very similar to that when the battery died. It would idle fine, but when I tried to revi it, it would sputter. It got worse and worse until i replaced the battery.

sounds like it could be the needle clip position, mine was way too rich when i received it. it did the same thing at half throttle, but i was able to go to full throttle with no problem.

could be loose coil connection. The connectors need to be very tight.

I went riding yesterday and did a really great climb and the altiude changed significantly. When I got onto a tighter more technical trail it was a bit scary and very frustrating when I would hit a rock or a root and it would start to sputter and then die. Majorecho was with me, actually thanks Major for taking me on that awesome ride!! He thinks it could be a possible float issue and the more I think about it, I think he is right. It could have been a very rich condition from altitude as well, I think it was both. I will let everyone know what I find when I check my float setting.

It's not a carbueration problem. I will have to agree on the battery theory. DSDude's Baja did the same thing, if one of those plates get's jarred in there and touches another one it will short out the battery. His would hold a charge and say 12 volts but one he put a draw on it, it would suck the juice down real fast!

I sense some disbelief that I make 100RWHP?

Here is a turbo raptor dyno to get an idea what the possibilities are:
