Elliot at Ron Wood Racing has told me on two different occasions now that there is no need to port a DS head unless you go with a bigger carb.
What do you guys think about that?

I also asked them what piston compression and cam grind specs they would recommend for the best power production in 100yrd drags and hill shooting, while still maintaining the user friendly power characteristics needed for woods trail riding without constant clutch work, and the only response I get is "The stage 2 kit for $830". Does this sound like it answered my very specific questions? I don't think so...
