Holeshots vs Turf Tamers
#6
Oh, hey, I didn't even realize that this post was from you, Hurycne. Get the Holeshots.
Hey, have you heard from Dusty lately? He hasn't been on in a long time.
How often do you make it down to Mark's place, and when is your next trip down there?

Yes Adam the Xct's have good hook up but I want to hear more about the turf tamers. We were down at 14mins a couple of weeks ago. I think we will be down again before Labor day.

I do believe that the XCT's are just about the best all-around tire, and still great for a track.
The turf-tamers are longtime favorites of MX racers, because they work so well on the track. Their close tread pattern makes them suck in really loose terrain, and wet conditions though. A lot of guys customize their turftamers by using a hot wire to remove lugs and open up the tread.
Rockey just got XCT's to replace his Bandits - he loves them, and the traction is way better.

Hey man, I just switched from my stock Holeshots to Turf Tamers, and the Holeshots definitely get better all around traction. I like the Tamers a lot more though since I only ride MX (except for that one day of drag racing at Aledo) and they are much better at cornering. I grooved mine and they get really good traction but in the loose stuff, the holeshots still hook up better.
