Actually Haspin has been keeping the main trails and track bulldozed and everything is nice and smooth. At least last time I was there about a week ago it was. The owner said he plans on keeping it that way to justify the price increase this year.

Chris, I really don't think there are that many DS owners out this way, much less on this forum. We could get a lot of Raptor and 400EX guys though, maybe post this in the other forums.

You're right Rockey. I have friends on this forum that ride Yams and Hons, and I keep taking for granted that they are covering those forums, but I think they're slacking!

By Golly I hope to be there!! I'm having some troubles as of now, hope they ain't serious. Downshifting is kinda "notchy" and hard to find neutral. Hoping something in the new tranny is just out of alignment?!! We will be pulling the clutch cover soon to see what can be found.

I SURE DO LIKE THE POWA!!

Good Luck...

Yeah Dude, if you have to just weld a sprocket to the crankshaft and make do with 1 gear for the day. Its going to be a fun day of riding. I have to come up with a good excuse to get out of a meeting otherwise i will have to leave about 2 in the afternoon for a freaking meeting. Maybe I'll just show up at the meeting drunk and in my riding clothes so my boss doesn't try to schedule anymore meetings during my off week.

Well we are hoping it is just the shift shaft out of alignment. If it is not in the right position when the clutch cover is removed and put back on, it will cause the prob that I am having (so i am told by some), so this is our first place to look! I am taking it back to my mechanic this morning (tue). So hopefully he will at least have it done by the trip on the 21st! God I hope so!!

I can tell ya now fellas - the "new found power" is definitely a turn on for me. This thang RIPS now! It spins those Shredders like they're not even there. I can't wait for you to ride it Hitower!! It's a new beast all together.

Wish me luck guys, and with some, I'll be there and ready to ROOST!

Later,
"TOID"

edit: I don't want to start a thread about the ride on the 21st if there is a "possibility" that I won't be there - ya know what I mean VERN?? But I guess I will for you guys sake if nuthin else!

Jason will just have to race against some kid on a Breeze or something - I'm bringing the Raptoid if I have to do what Rockey said!!!

My mechanic just informed me tonight that she is ready to roll - I'm picking it up first thing in the morning (thur). So I will put a few more test miles on it in the morning and see how she's doing. He says it is shifting correctly now. He had to work on the shift drum and innards. But he rode it for about an hour on his track and said everything is normal - WOOOOOO HOOOOOO!!

Lookin like I'm back in business fellas!! Looking forward to Wednesday!!

Sweeet! Raptoid is going to make it. Set the suspension up for big jumps, they have some nice jumps on the track. Someone needs to bring a camera.

Rockey, I hope that track is in GOOD shape my man! I'm looking forward to some of those doubles.

I will have a video camera with, Hitower will probably bring one too?! I do not have a digital camera, however, I do have a nice 35mm that we use all the time.
