You should be able to just put in the town in mapquest and it will show it. It is really not near any major city, The closest medium size town I would think would be either cedar city utah or st.george utah.
Look for highway 89 in your map. Coral pink dunes and kanab utah are both on highway 89. It is close to the arizona border.
I hope that helps, and you are not being a pain. From rock springs wyoming, where I live it is about 475 miles.

No No NO Kanab is a cool little town. There are some good motels, an ATV rental/repair shop, and a new little satelite Yamaha dealer in a car dealership. There is at least one 24 hr. gas station/mini-mart. It is right on the Arizona Border and not that far from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.
.... Pink Coral is north of Kanab about 10 miles then 6 miles west, you can't miss the signs, there are two roads, they both work.
You can get a reservation for the cool little 22 spot campground with 9 PM to 9 AM noise restrictions for $16/nt. but great spots with clean bathrooms and showers or park at the north end for cheap and rough it.
It is run by the Utah State Parks. They do a really good job. They run a tight ship. It may be run a little strict, but it is a really nice place, and worth playing by the rules, it obviously works.
