It might need a rebuild again...we have been tough on it...hehehhe
I am still looking for lower gears for the rear end.....my cart pics

the cheapest place i found for rebuild parts was www.golfcartcatalog.com Complete rebuild kit including all gaskets is only $97. They have oversized ones and everything too. Its the same place i got my kit for my old harley golf cart i use to have. I think just putting more power into the motor will solve the high gearing problem. Besides just having DS races labor day, we will have to have golf cart races, lol.

hehe, jeff... i may not be able to beat your DS vs. my DS but i can probably beat u my golf cart vs. your golf cart.

i wish i woulda had a golf cart like that bout 3 months ago, cuz one of my bros friend had a 97' skidoo formula III 700 triple motor with triple pipes that i could used, lol, i woulda luved 2 race a cart like that against urs,

we were thinking about putting a snowmobile motor into it but the liquid cooling would be a problem. The little 440 fans just dont have enough hp compared to the motor thats in it when we get done modding it [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

snowmobile motor is the way to go, although a little(very) noisy. we have a yamaha sx 440 air cooled twin two stroke in ours. 40 - 50 mph. scarry at times!!!
