Ive seen it recomended here to switch out the tail bulb with a LED cause the vibration constantly blows the normal auto bulbs within minutes of replacement. Anyway i looked at auto stores and saw the LED replacements, but they are all on brightness, not like tail and BRAKE light in one, and they also are supposed to be mounted a different way than the normal bulb, ie, they dont do there best sideways in the stock socket, they are supposed to point straight outwards, Who has done this LED replacement mod, and what did you do to address these issues. I cant seem to find a dual filement(tail and brake) LED anywhere, besides the mounting issue

Get the LED number 1157...and no you dont have to mount it in a different position. Just pull out the bulb and push in the LED. Its from the company APC, its like $5. Hope this helps you. Later.

You got it... 1157 is the number for the bulb with dual filaments (tail and brake lights) so 1157 LED is both tail and brake.

Or you can make a mount and run two rows of LED with reduced voltage for the running lights. They also make LED's that have two colors dependant on which one you want and when. Mine will be shipping next week, for a picture look at my sig.

When running a whole LED light....
I bought a in line device that turn a regular LED light into a brake and tail light. It just looks like a resistor and diode thingy that wires inline.....works great!
