If high of 85 is right for Sand Mt. I'm there. Any suggestions where to park the RV. Are there campgrounds or is it like Glamis. Is there a best rout to get there from L.A.

sand mtn. nv is just like glamis where u just park out on the sand. You park right at the competition hill so it is different from glamis in that u dont have to dune far to get to the competition. Last year it got up to about 95 but the year before that it was in the 60's and 70's for highs and when we came back over the sierra's there was snow so it varies from year to year. It should be ok because there is almost always a slight wind there even if its warm. We will be out there at sand mtn. nv for labor day too. Sean
