Well I just got back from 4 days at St. Anthony sand dunes in Idaho and all I can say is "Why didn't I buy A arms a year ago?" the stearing in steady as a rock no more jerking the bars out of my hands. I set the caster at 4.5 degrees and the toe in at 3/8" which made for a very pleasent ride. The new set up took all the abuse I could throw at it no problem. Needless to say that the arms are well worth the money that I spent on them and I would do it again in a heat beat.

I also finally got the carb set up to make some power. I was able to race a RW stage1 baja and stay right with him the whole way up thunder mountain. I could pull third gear the whole way up as where the other ds's that were there could only pull second (except for the stage 1).

I have to admit that your Bomb is definately running stonger than last time. For the msot part you were beating me when we raced. I'll try to get some of those pics of you airing it out on my site this week.

You missed the best jumping of the weekend. Sunday after you left me and mike went out for about a hour and I found 2 step ups that were about 5 feet high but a I was clearing them by about 5 feet and landing about 40 ft long. I jammed my shoulder a little on one beacuse I over shot the landing and landed flat but the quad took all the abuse I could throw at it. Any way I had a real good time and maybe we can hook up one more time this year before it gets to cold.

Yep, it was a great few days of riding. I doubt I will make it out for Labor Day anyplace since I have so much to do at home but I am thinking I can hit Little Sahara, Utah in the fall while the weather is still OK.

Anyway, your suspension definately works for the big air but for non-jumping type like me it's pretty stiff. I need the soft smooth ride.

Dude, that's amazing! Bring a stock armed DS in to 3/8"toe-in and it'd be all over the place!
thanks for the report - we've been looking forward to it!

If you don't mind me asking, how much were the a-arms, and what do they look like?
