Hey jeff, did you get your other motor done yet? Im still waiting for mine to show. They apperently shipped on monday so i should be getting it anyday now. I was wondering what you thought on using dual 38mm tm mikuni flatside carbs? Ive got a body with these carbs and i think i can pick them up pretty reasonable. Whats your thought? Will that be to much carb for the motor im building? Thanks in advance!

P.S. I went with the samco stroker kit with the big cams and porting, oversize valves 12 to 1 piston in case you forgot.

QUADLOCO,
I did a Pami703cc instead of the 720+cc..and yes it is done.
I am selling the Samcoe kit next week,I wanted something more for desert racing this time.
I have never heard of dual 38 mikuni's(on a DS)...will they fit?
The dual Keihin 39s are what I have on both my Ds's right now...you would be sorry if you didn't go with them.
PS let us know how it rips?

badassbomb,
The dual carb's will set you back...I have heard of people getting them for under $600,but then you need a throttle cable, filters & intake boot..this will run another $100+...add shipping tax etc....

Jeff

dual 38mm flatslides sound like carbs that came off a snowmobile. Not sure if they will work. Sean
