New dirtwheels in today. Says predator is close to fifty ponies!! I seriously doubt it. Myself, Hurycne,BiggerIsBetter,DsMike all raced two of these machines at little sahara, ok on 4th of july (they were testing them and said it was the finished product). well alotta things could have effected that, or it coulda been a crappy dyno (like the dyno that jeff was on and got 44), either way i still agree that it doesn't make 50,

 

Did yall beat the preator?How do they compare to the ds?

 

It really wasnt even a race to be honest, the guys were pretty far behind us. really nice guys though. said that they all had problems with the shifting forks on the trannys. lets just hope pooplaris doesnt have rappy tranny syndrome. at least the 01 models anyway. they took it like men and invited us to there camp for a beer!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Ya I still want to know how they got there dyno info for the speeds.
It shows the 400ex topped out at 62, and the rap at 71.. I dont under stand how that works.
And it is ugly, and DW said that they had to ware knee pads because of the crap seat design...
I really think it is going to have many problems.

 

My bad, i mean atv sport said that they needed knee pads.

 

I wouldn't get rid of the Dirtwheels mag. You find lots of aftermarket for cheap in the adds.
