Peugeot (yes, peugeot...) jast launchd a...... wait for it...... 125cc supercharged scooter!!!!! way cool!!!!!!

It was jast lauched in the international motor show in Munich, so i dont know all the specs (but i do have some info on it if you want), but do you guys think that if you could do it to a 125cc engine and make it worth it power wise do you think you could do it to a quad????? I mean like can a company make a high performence 250cc qaud that will hang with the big bore ones?????
what do you guys think????

 

There were a few European bikes that were supercharged back in the 20s and 30s. They were the hot thing and set speed records, I think they may have been barred from racing eventually.
Sure it can be done but say you double a 250s hp with a supercharger, it would be easier to just put in a 500, It would cost alot less than a spendy supercharger. Now we have quads hitting 700cc, who knows where they will stop.
The scooter may have a cc limit to be road legal without being a full on motorcycle. Peugot would want to one up the competition with more power hence the supercharger instead of increasing the ccs.
Just my theory.
