Well , after waiting months I finally got my baja. I'm very satisfied with it and don't think I could have made a better choose for myself.Seems to be ideal in all conditions even super rough trails. The only problem I have is keeping it looking good after cleaning.I've tried the mop and glow , armor all , pledge ,even atv cleaner and protectant.Nothing seems to help ,it all seems to smear.Anyone else have this problem or any suggestions?

I use Formula 2001 protectant(lime green bottle), I rub it in intil it stops smearing. This seems to work best for me, and I have tried the same stuff you have. GOOD LUCK!

Try some Lemon Pledge, spray it on and let it set for a few minutes then buff it out. I use it on all mine and am very satisfied with the results.

I just use a bottle with a little bit of dawn soap and water. (use paper towles)

Also anything that is black use tire shine on it, makes it look newer then new...

Thanks for the suggestions , I'll try some and see which one works best. For the black I've been using Black Chrome cleaner and sealant. Works good on black but thats it . Does anyone use a pressure washer on their atv? I've been told by some that they work great and others say that it will damage wires and other parts if your not careful . Don't want to try until I know for sure.

I use a pressure washer on my BAJA. You dont want to put it on a straight stream though. That will damage soemthing. Make sure its fanning the water out some, it wont damage anything and gets your quad squeeky clean! Also, on the cleaner/wax, I use whatever protecant that Honda sells. I forgot the name. Its in a black can with a red or pinkish color label.

Is the Honda cleaner called pro honda spray cleaner and polish ? I have that here but haven't tried it yet on this bike. I've used it on my husbands honda and didn't like the results but mop and glow works wonders on his and not mine so maybe its worth a try. Do you leave it on for a bit or wipe it off right away ?

I think that is what its called. I let it sit for a bit. Wipe most of it off then buff it with a soft terry cloth towel. Works great for me.
