gary was telling me it out flows the pami race head, i guess it is up to jeff to get one and let us know how the two compare. the nice thing i noticed is the larger head bolts, pouring nos and higher compression has to put more pressure on the head.

I turned the boost up more and my head started leaking again.

How did TVI use larger head bolts? Custom welding on head and cylinder? The cylinder thread near the cam chain doesn't have much of a surface to increase bolt diameter. The head threads don't appear to leave much room for larger bolts either.

I think the head is 40 mm intake/36 mm exhaust. I know that the stay bolt are larger in diameter, 10 mm vs. 8 mm? And are not supposed to stretch.

I've had numerous dealings with TVI since Jan of this year, he has delivered everything we agreed on and is very pleasant to deal with. Gary is probably moving the most agressively towards achieving higher levels of performance for the DS than anyone else I'm aware of. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. It's unfortunate that sand45 had an unpleasant experiance and I hope they can resolve their differences in a civil manner w/o resorting to mud slinging.

i heard about that pami thing too! but that pami thing doesn't seem to be working for anyone except those with stuff already. I'm sure with as many ds's out that gary won't make all of them happy, but that is kind of normal in business. but i think he is good for us as a group. besides azsand we need someplace to go in oregon . arizona is a long ways to go for parts, seems like a lot of the good parts are there, most in your garage, look forward to seeing you run that monster some day.
