Default CDI box/Wheels

This is a 2-part question and I should probably make two separate threads but here goes. Can the existing CDI box be modified so that the rev limited is incapacitated? Or does a single wire coming from the box control this so that it could be disconnected? I have no electrical schematics of the DS650 system at all. This may not be possible. The second question...Do any other make of quads wheels fit the DS650?

Wouldn't that mean that the Banshee and Warrior wheels, and maybe some other Yamaha wheels are 4/144 also?? I have always been told they were the same.

I'm pretty sure that all Yamaha wheels (at least for sport quads) are the same. I have a friend with a warrior and Raptor, and I believe he's moved the wheels around between the two of those at some point.

With the slight difference in the Yamaha/Bombardier wheel patterns, it seems you could egg out wheels of one brand to make them fit the other without too much work, aluminum is fairly soft. I don't think I'll try it for my ATVs, however for someone who owns both brands, it could be a very handy thing to do.
