Default DS90 AIR filter

Can anyone tell me how to get to the air filter on this 2002 2 stroke quad, my manual doesn't show. It appears to be under the tank but not easily accessible

The air filter is under the seat in front of the oil tank held inplace by 2- #10 bolts. It is very hard to get out with the air toob sticking up. I pulled the toob out first time then cut off the part that sticks up. Some of the screws that hold the filter together are under the foil on the bottom. good luck. I am waiting for some new jets for the one I have, let me know if you would like to have some more info on how that works out.

Twist and pull. It won't hurt anything and I would put the tube back in after bolting the housing in place. That is the worst disign for a filter I hae ever seen.

That's my understanding. I did call Bombardier to ask who made the motor forthe 90 so that I might find some sort of mods. 2 weeks later they called me back telling me that they could not let that info out. I have changed the spark arrester to one that has good flow and went from the factory 77.5 main jet to a 95 thats still not big enough for the new Uni air filter that lets to much air flow, so I had to chock off a little air using a large washer and adjusting the center opening. I have been waiting for some more back ordered larger jets 100, 105, 110, 115 so I can get full air flow with the Uni filter.
