I was looking at mikunis web site and found this http://www.mikuni.com/fs-carburetor.html what is the stock the DS has a 40?? Anyone try this baby?

I think the stock carb is a 42.

The stocker is a 42. Knutz put a 48 on his big bore DS and found it worked better then the 45 that it replaced. I doubt it will work with a stock bore though.

If you have a stock engine go with the 42mm Mikuni, a modified engine the 45mm a big bore the 48. I have the only Edelbrock QS and it is a 42mm and it pulls great.
