Hey guys, I've modded the end cap and now need to re jet, can you use the regular jets or do you have to get the dynojet jets? Have any of you had any problems with the r.w. cdi box, failures? Does the r.w. cdi make a difference with a stock engine and exhaust? Has anyone tried to ice race a ds, any pionters on lowering, gearing, winter jetting, anything would really help . Don't use dynojets with stock Mikuni jet needle, get Mikuni mains if they're sticking with the stock needle. Otherwise, get the whole Dynojet kit - the DynoJet needle is what you're paying for, and it is far superior for better throttle response over the stocker, well worth the money.
RWR cdi is great - slight power gain throughout rev due to slightly advanced ignition timing. No problems with mine.

The DS has wone the 24hr Num Bum race in Canada all they changed was the CT Pipe, works shocks and studed tires. check with http://www.hsdracing.com/ on set up
