Hey can anyone please tell me where the cdi is located on my DS650? I just purchased the Ron Woods CDI. I think it is located on the back of the airbox but want to be sure. Thanks in advance...

No No, that is the rectifier, the CDI is located on the left side of the quad if you are sitting on it, it is the small black box peeking out from under the nose piece, yopu will need to remove the gas tank for the installatin and grats on the purchase.

Fullbore...

The box in the back you were describing is the rectifier...transforms the stator generated AC voltage to DC voltage...the CDI unit is on the left front side of the quad (you sitting on the seat/shift side of the engine) up under the tank shroud near the headstem...the unit you bought is exactly the same dimensions and will change out in ten minutes or less. Youre gonna love it! I do for sure...
