hi, i bought a 2000 ds 650, stock, and i need a few things, but im havin a hard time finding them. first, i need a tach, like on the baja, not a digi one, and do i have to drill for that?.. also, i want some black plastics. if anybody could help, that would be sweet! thanx.

 

You can get the tach from "bombardierdirect.com". The plastics you can get from your local dealer. Tell them you want 2002 baja tank cover and nose, and 2001 ds black rear fender and front fenders.

 

thanks for the advice, but the drilling in the dash isnt a problem, theres a punchout for it, i was more concerned about whether i would have to drillin to the crankcase or something. thanx.

 

No crankcase drilling, tach has three wires - pos, neg, and one teed into a coil wire - that's it.
