is anyone still afraid to use a master link on the ds, the reason i ask is because i woould like to be able to change gears without taking my swingarm off. )yea i know picky picky). Or maybe there is an easier way. But any way i bought the 35 and 43 tooth sprockets and would like to have a custom chain with 2 master links in it to run the 3 sprockets it would be a 530 but it will have 2 530 master links in it. Lastly what chain length do you use for your 43 and 35 tooth sprockets. thanks for the help

You should have no problem with two Master Links. I have been using a Master Link for two years with no negative effects.
Why would you take your swing arm off to change gearing? You must mean the right rear hub. You don't need to mess w/ the S/A at all.
Your chain lenght depends on what front sprocket your running with the rear.
I have run 17/37 and not needed to adjust the chain length.
