needle setting?...where and what is it? forgive me, im new at this stuff...

whats this needleevryonestalking about?

It is on the top side of the carb under the cover. It is connected to the slide. It has groves in it with a clip and washers that are adjustable for the midrange air fuel mixture. 1/4 to 3/4 throttle.

Here is a link with all the components of the carb and which components affect which areas. I found it pretty helpful when I was first trying to figure all this stuff out.
