QUADMAN650 SAYS:

HAS ANYONE HAD TO MAKE ANY ADJUSTMENTS ON THE KIT SUCH AS NEEDLE POSITION WHAT JETS DID YOU USE PILOT AND MAIN?

THE kit dont work very well. too lean

IF IT DOSEN'T WORK WHY DO I HAVE IT INSTALLED IN MY BIKE

MINE IS ACTUALLY RUNNING TO RICH EXPLAIN TO ME WHY WHEN I REV THE MOTOR UP IT BLOWS A BLUE FLAME ABOUT 12 IN LONG WOULDN'T YOU SAY THAT IT IS RICH



WELL ALL I KNOW IS THAT BOXMAN, BIGGERISBETTER,AND I MY SELF ARE RUNNING THE ALKY JET KIT IN OUR DS650'S AND WE SEEM TO BE WALKING OFF AND LEAVING THE GAS DS650'S BY 5 OR 6 BIKE LENGTHS

6hr drive sorry too cold

clutches are working properly gave me the edge to beat aaron but only and edge

biggerisbetter has the kit but i think he is running jet sizes that i found to be ALOT better.

i think boxman is to and i'm pretty sure that samcoe is.



the blue flame is because of your air/fuel screw is out alittle to much. you can screw it in and it will help. will alky it is almost in possible to keep a 4 stroke from doin that. i finally got my DS from blowing flames like that.

DSmike is right . I tried the kit and it was to lean. After talking with him I tried several combinations and have gotten it dailed in to where its running strong, hardly pops a flame, and barely milks the oil.

Brandon, The kit has a good Pilots, and offers a different needle,and needle jet,along with the improved needle/float valve, but the Main jets are alittle to small. I suggest using the smallest(useless ones), and driling them out until you get what you want.

BisB I was running the 240 and my bike overheated! I think that you are right you need to drill some.
