Air box question???
Yeah it was gas that I smelt. I ripped it all apart today, and the oil came in from the left hose, the one that has the oil breather going to, the other one was completely clean. My dealership thinks that maybe of some water got in somehow, that it would build enough pressure to push oil out. I also did a quick oil change and that looked good still.
Thanks for the help so far!!!

Air box question???
There has been complaints of oil blow-by since day one. It doesn't happen on very many but it is not unheard of.
Blow-by is usually caused by compression that gets past the piston rings when combustion takes place in the cylinder. In the case of the Ds, many with this problem have built their engines with high compression pistons and bigger bore which is a complete replacement of the cylinder and piston, and still had the problem. This indicates that the blow-by is not from the rings but being generated elsewhere, yet undiscovered.
As for the gas, blow-by oil has a slight amount of gas in it so you can smell it.
I suggest you don't tear it down!! Just ride the crap out of it and clean the box every now and then.
If you are still unsattisfied, you can do a compression test (disable the compression release first) to measure the integrity of the rings.
