Default Information on stock BSR42 carb

Does anyone have a better exploded view of the BSR42 than what's in the DS650 Service Manual? Maybe one with all the parts labled? I'm trying to change the starter jet and I don't even know where it is.

Thanks.

goto mikuni web site http://www.mikuni.com/fs-carburetor.html and they have an Exploded View of the carb there, i think your looking for the pilot jet, i think its number 64 in the pic there, if you have the carb about, its the one by its self, there are 2 in a line and one off to the side, the one on the side is the pilot jet, i hope thats the one your talking about

Thanks for the suggestion, but I can't find the BSR42 diagrams on that site.

I'd like this question answered......

Does someone have a detailed exploded view with parts list for the BSR42?

The one in the manual leaves too much out and the parts list is incomplete....

If you look at my pictures page the last 3 are the bsr 42 carb and parts list. Screw #19 adjusts the starter jet. Also here is a link to another picture that might help. They might be the same thing you have but it’s the best I’ve have.

Dune Me--- I don’t think the HSR and BSR are the same are they? It doesn’t look like it

The HSR and the BSR are not the same. I use an HSR44 on my Harley.
The pictures in the manual are weak at best. Some of the parts shown don't even have a part number associated to them.
A detailed exploded view with parts list would be nice just like the HSR view by DuneMe......
