When I ordered my HSR42 from RWR I asked for the accelerator pump to be set-up and it was. The HSR/TM series carbs are used on Harleys with an accelerator pump. I have since disconnected it because it was too hard on my thumb. I did not opt to go with a twist throttle because of my riding style (mostly duneing with an occasional drag race) but it would be fine with a twist. I was able to solve the bog issue with a Dial-A-Jet and achieve a much more consistent mixture this way. I am not recommending this approach unless you are a gearhead like me. I know some on this forum have had problems getting the carb w/pump setup properly but it was pretty easy on mine. Start with the smallest pump nozzle and leave about a 3/16” gap on the accelerator pump linkage. Ask for a tuning manual when you buy the carb.</SPAN>
