Default QUESTION...

Can someone tell me if the oil sensor and the coolant sensor or of better quality on the 2002 baja then the 2000 ds,if so can you interchange them,also can you just plug in the 2002 baja fan to my 2000 ds i know i'll have to cut my fan support and make it fit but i'm willing to do that...

Default QUESTION...

Hey DSwolf....I have a 2000 DS and I installed the newer sending unit in mine , because my oil light was coming on..I checked the presure first then the temp . sending unit....works great now

Default QUESTION...

The fans are also the same. It's just that the Baja has added brackets so that the fan can be mounted with rubber vibration mounts. The fan will prolly not last long in the 2000 DS. At least all 3 fans in my 2001 DS haven't. My third one is failing now. I may just forget the fan all together this time. It's starting to get real stupid[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

Default QUESTION...

I still have the stock fan on my 2000 DS , but I will look at making it better before it breaks like yours

Default QUESTION...

I tried putting small peices of rubber between the mounting bracket and the fan last time. But aparently that wasn't good enough. It needs to be truly rubber mounted for vibration some how. Prolly going to have to weld brackets in there like the Baja has. So far I have not herd of any Baja owners saying that their fans are failing.
