It doesn't look to hard to make one of these, has anyone every tried? If anyone has one could they give me measurements they would be very helpful? I have access to brass, steel and aluminum, would aluminum be best to make it with like the pro design one? Is there any thing i should really know when making one of these? I'll also be making a bar riser before i start this so i'll let you all know how it goes

lilnotts, I actually have a new one sitting in my garage. I will just send it to you, and when you are done, send it back. I am in no hurry to put it on. Send me an e-mail with your address, and stuff, and I will send it. TxDS650rider@aol.com

i just got mine a few days ago and it is sitting here on the desk it is 2 3/8 long, it seems to be milled out of 1 1/8 stock, the cooling fins are 13/16 with 1/16 in between the pipe itself is milled to 11/16 with 3/4 rips on the end to catch the hose ends.the inner dia. appears to be 1/2"

I saw that someone makes a cooler that is a little larger and dissipates heat better. Its pretty extreme

Supercoolers help most on the return line - the short top one - and should be made of aluminum because it dissipates heat the best and fastest of the materials mentioned. If your making them, make two - one for both lines, every little bit helps.

i was thinking about making a really big one to put on the intake like coming from the bottom of the rad to the water, so it would come out of the rad got to a right angle fitting, threw my super cooler, then threw another right angle fitting going straight to the water pump, the id of mine wil be 3/4" so it will not slow down the flow, i will also have brackets so it can be bolted to the frame so it will not bounce around, wat do u think?
