Elevation and Jetting

Elevation and Jetting
I know elevation has an effect on jetting but am not sure which way. I usually ride at about 3000 feet above sea level. When we go to play in the dunes (St Anthoney's) we ride at about 4000 - 4500 feet. Do I make the mixture richer or leaner. What do I change the main jet or the position of the needle and clip.
Does tempature also effect jetting (colder to hotter)
I have the carb tunning manual for the 42mm DS carb but these 2 issues are not covered.
Thanks

Elevation and Jetting
Higher elevation needs less fuel (ie. smaller jet size)
From 3000 being normal and then to 4000, I doubt the hassle of changing the jet would make that much of a difference (unless you're racing)
The needle clip doesn't really need to be changed for elevation changes. It is really a way to "map" the fuel curve of the primary fuel circuit. Once it's in the proper position, there's really no need to change it (unless you make engine mods).
