Sand tire?
#12
azsand has the right answer. other tires work o.k. but those work well, most of the time, and if azsand has the most tire, i must be second. don't go with geckos, going from a ds with haulers to a ds with geckos felt like starting on ice.

GotsandBaja I like the STU Mini Desert Traks 22X14X10 http://www.sandtiresunlimited.com/graphics/MDT_big.jpg They are a very good general duneing tire. You can leave the stock if you ride on a lot of dirt or cut out the center section for more sand or ti-bo comp cut like I have for just sand usage. my tires.

I've got Sand Devils. Considering the cost, they aren't a bad tire after you get going. They are just too small to perform well on a heavy machine; which explains why I lose almost all of my drag races in the first 50'! I'm going to get some S.T.U. Brats when I find some extra $$ ( many toys...one paycheck )

After Emailing with BillDS650 I decided to try the STU Mini Desert Traks 22X14X10 myself, first I had them comp cut them and leave all the paddles on, that was too much paddle, I've got them back from Joe now, Tibo cut and on 10X10 rims, these will be my main paddles, can't wait to try them out at Glamis, It's just a shame they are so expensive

so az, u'd recommend shand sharks for me? i'll probably would only be using them for snow and i want something really tough to hold on up ice or other hard surfaces, and only a few ppl have paddles since its mainly dirt around here so i'm not worried bout dragging against ppl,
