They are the Nevada jeep club annual races held at Dumont. They use the big hill that you can see from camp (the main road runs right into it) and the hill to the left of comp for slow races. They also have drag races on the flats on the back side of the dunes. It all good.

Dumont sounds great on the 2nd for me too. I know that Tony and Sam what to show us around Dove Spings sometime to. But Im all for Dumont next weekend.

 

Hey Larry, I would be up for Dumont next weekend also. but I don't get off work until about 7:00 a.m. So I wouldn't be able to get there until about 11:00. But I wouldn't be able to take my trailer. Would you have room in your rig? We can do Dove springs maybe the following weekend.

 

Whats up ABB? Well I went out to Gorman for a little transmission testing last sunday, only to find a pretty bad oil leak from the bottom of my center case. Could'nt pinpoint exactly where its comming from but that will be for the shop to find. Soooo back to the shop it went today for another month. LOL 74. If his cams improve it that much I'll have no choice but to port my head. From the looks of the Trinity quads at 4sw's I'll proabably take a chance and send my head to CrayCraft. They were saying a 2 week turn around, thats much better than Trinity.

 

Im just gonna rough it. To big a hassel to to unload the tool boxes and mount the camper for a one nighter. As long as the weather is decent I can hang for one night. Hopefully Dave will take his trailer. That way if it does get nasty we can at least get inside.
The following weekend is my Sisters b-day get together and I think my mom has a local bbq in mind.
But maybe the weekend after pres day we can do Dove Springs.
